The Pediatric Diabetes Research Center (PDRC) at UC San Diego brings together innovative research scientists and clinicians focused on uncovering new knowledge about type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications and translating those discoveries into improved therapies and possible cures.
We want to improve the quality of life for those with diabetes through groundbreaking
research in the prevention, treatment and cure of type 1 diabetes; and by
providing optimal, compassionate clinical care and education.
