The Department of Pediatrics IT has some documentation and tutorial available for some processes. We provide some one-on-one training on a one time basis for accessing our systems.

- Outlook 2003/2007 Anywhere Setup 
You can access your mailbox anywhere as long as you are connected to the Internet. The web outlook will greatly increase your mobility and productivity! It is very similar to your desktop outlook.

- Access HelpDesk Website
The Department has rolled out the new helpdesk support system called HelpStar. HelpStar allows you to submit IT-related requests via a web-based application. Please click to the following link to see how you can take advantage of this application.

- Encrypting your home folder on your Macintosh computer
You can turn on FileVault to encrypt the information in your home folder. Encryption scrambles the data in your home folder so that unauthorized users, applications, or utilities cannot access your data.
